Votre rôle et vos missions:

Your job and day to day missions:
Working in an operational entity with strong cohesive spirit and reporting to the Group Head of Ceded Reinsurance:

You act as a facilitator for the coordination across Group Ceded Re, GRM, GPMand are in contact with external brokers to ensure the delivery of high-quality reinsurance strategy presentations for Group management committees, Group Investor Days, Monte Carlo & Baden Baden international reinsurance conferences, Board meetings, etc.

You are a contributor to the review of Group ceded reinsurance strategy (billions of annual ceded premiums across proportional and non-proportional treaties) and you ensure the volatility management and net buy-down strategy.

You work closely with the top management teams, especially the Placement & Underwriting teams, on various projects (post-M&A organizational design, governance & process optimization, ESG reporting, 360 view CRM salesforce tool, etc.) and contribute to the sound relationship management with > 30 reinsurers (Swiss Re, Munich Re, SCOR, Berkshire, etc.).

You manage the reinsurance Steer Co (AGRe & AXA XL ceded re management teams), ensure the successful implementation of identified TOM (incl.

placement, volatility management and large loss claims).

You participate to the learning & knowledge development of the team (project management, market insights, reinsurer benchmark, office skills etc.), the organization of workshops for the management and other ad-hoc initiatives.

You develop good relationship with the other entities and the Group teams (GRM, Finance, Pricing, Legal, etc.) and set up reinsurer & market insights.

Votre profil:

Technical and intellectual skills:

Solid knowledge and understanding of P&C business, finance in general, and capital management in particular ;
Good business acumen: understanding of the strategic issues facing the Group, with a demonstrated ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyse and act on complex business issues ;
Excellent analytical and synthesizing skills, to draw conclusions and make recommendations to ease decision making of top management ;
Fully fluent in English and French (oral and written) ;
Good practice of MS Office suite, in particular MS PowerPoint and Excel.

Personal and behavioural skills:

If not familiar with Ceded Reinsurance, drive & passion to learn on the topic and catch up quickly to be able to add value to the daytoday tasks ;
Actionoriented, deliveryfocused mindset with strong project management skills ;
High degree of rigor and reliability, combining good analytical skills with the ability to summarize and select relevant information ;
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to document and present information in a concise and businessoriented manner (e.g. for senior management) ;
Capacity to develop strategic relationships with different stakeholders ;
At ease with uncertainty and used to perform tasks in a fastmoving work environment.
