About PASQAL

Job description

As the head of the Emulation team, your mission will be to lead the development of numerical tools and associated models to simulate the dynamics of complex quantum systems.

These software tools will both be used internally by the R&D teams to have better insights into the systems they work with and provided as a service for PASQAL's clients through our Cloud Services.

Your missions and responsibilities will include:

Providing technical leadership to key software projects
Managing a team of quantum and software engineers, conducting recurring reviews, and taking care of the hiring and onboarding of new members
Effectively leading architectural reviews, planning and execution processes. Contributing technically to projects.
Making sure quality and security standards are respected across the team
Designing roadmaps for the emulation libraries. Working closely with the product to deliver the roadmap in the best possible way
Prioritizing work across teams and projects
Working closely with the Quantum Libraries and Algorithms teams to provide the best simulation features for their needs.
Collaborating with Cloud Services team to deliver QPU emulators to the cloud offer
Collaborating with the R&D Protocols team and providing them with the tools to decide on the best implementation strategies and protocols
Communicating team vision, strategy and progress to peers, partners and top management.
Keeping a regular technological watch
Having an inventive activity in the scientific and technical fields related to the Company's research, products, technologies and markets; filing patents
