Rippling has launched globally and is establishing a market presence in France. This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of Rippling's team in France and build the business.
This role will be an independent contributor role to start, but a "super IC" role that is responsible for the company's overall success in the country.
This will include regulatory, marketing, sales, business development, and implementation-related responsibilities.What you will do
- Evaluate channel sales opportunities with industry associations and thirdparty accountant firms to expand the company's market presence
- Monitor competitive activities, market trends, and customer feedback, adapting strategies and tactics accordingly
- Review and help develop marketing campaigns to ensure fit for local businesses, and drive field marketing event preparation
- Stay informed about regulatory requirements, legal obligations, and industryspecific standards applicable to the French market, and interface with regulatory authorities
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy requirements in collaboration with the legal and compliance teams
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in product, engineering, marketing, sales, implementation, operations, and support. Lead projects to create and improve processes and relay customer feedback
What you will need
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
- 10 years of experience in consulting or a crossfunctional role, ideally as a GM or Country Manager within the technology sector
- Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the French technology market and industry dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- A scrappy, "get stuff done" mindset and a strong bias for action
- A willingness and ability to get deep into product details
- Fluency in English and French is required
