Job Description:

Group solution expert

France/Europe North Africa is responsible for the day to day handling of M&E Groups enquires on behalf of the business, with focus on supporting business being driven from the French (and key European markets such as Spain/Germany/UK)

Taking both a proactive and reactive approach in managing and handling of such enquires.

Working with the B2b M&E markets - from across ENA with focus on French markets (From direct corporates through to 3rd party agents).working and liasing with hotels from ENA and also from our global network of hotel.

Managing and handling the administration of the enquiries using the various tools such as connex. Work within a team to help drive conversion and achieve annual M&E targets.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Group booking requests:

Answering the customer's M&E booking requests
Advising and recommending relevant hotels to the client that best suit their needs and Accor sales priorities
Being organised and being able to multi task in order to handle multi enquires

Relationships:

Maintaining a strong and professional relationship with customers & hotels and sales teams:
Increase sales and improve confirmation and realization ratios
Negotiating prices with the clients & hotels

GSE strategy:

Assisting in the implementation and achievement of the GSE strategy and targets
Being aware and up to date on the market information, trends and competitors.
Full usage of SAAS (Connex) to support the Global strategy and generate trackable business.
Attend internal and external M&E events/Sales events to support the business as and when required

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATION /

COMPETENCIES:
work in M&E hotel sales/banqueting or MICE agency experience 2-3 years

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Needs to be fluent in French and English
Understanding of M&E market
- preferable strong understanding of French M&E market as a minimum.
Past experience within M&E - handling enquires on behalf of a hotel at a hotel or cenytral level or from a 3rd party M&E agent background (or dmc)
Good organisational and administrational skils.
Good geographical knowledge of Europe - essential

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
ideally at hotel or central level with M&E Groups experience - minimum 2/3 years. Working within a groups environment and knowledge of M&E local markets
