  • The EMEA Lens Professional Solutions (Wholesale Marketing) team is looking for an experienced and talented Marketing Leader to take the responsibility of the Brands coordination from a marketing standpoint, including the full portfolio of brands (Essilor, Nikon, Transitions and associated Essilor blockbusters Varilux, Crizal, Eyezen, Stellest... in the EMEA region for the Wholesale Division.
Reporting to VP Marketing EMEA and in strong collaboration with the different Departments of the Group:
COE in HQ in Milano, Global Marketing Team in HQ in Charenton and all Brand Leaders of the EMEA teams

  • Main responsibilities:
  • 1. Coordinate and influence the quarterly & yearly plan of activations of the different Brands (Go To Market), limiting overlapping, optimizing investment resources, in coordination with Category Teams 2. Consolidate the plan of innovations (calendar view) multibrands (Essilor, Nikon, Transitions, Kodak) 3. Contribute to organizing and structuring the RIAM presentations (Regional Alignment Meeting) for preparation of Year +1, challenge the strategies and content 4. Contribute to influencing the definition of the new Essilor Foot Print / Value Proposal, by influencing Global Marketing and ensuring that the key needs of the Region are well integrated. Be the contact for the markets for the Brand Guideline 5. Responsible for following the Brand Tracking studies for the Brands with consumers and with ECPs
- (Brand Awareness and NPS evolution), and drive conclusions and recommendations to implement- 6. Be the key contact to the COE to work on Social Media, Social Concierge (communication of needs/information to markets etc ) and SEO/SEM and PR, CRM and Trade-Marketing- 7. Be the contact for GMT (Digital Council) to influence the Essilor Branded website: ensure development of Landing Pages, timing, activations in line with the calendar of activities of the different markets, tracking and reporting of KPIs (traffic, store locator visits )- 8. Take leadership on specific Group Transversal activities: i.e "24h Le Mans Activation", "Black Try-Days", "Co-Branded Activities Lens X Lens or Lens X Frames" with all aspects (trade-marketing, Digital, communication to markets, execution )- 9. Contribute to the preparation of the Monthly SMM (Strategic Marketing Meeting): definition of agenda, coordination with the different Brands, challenging of the content.- 10. Contribute to better understand the Spending of the markets (Opex) and define guidance for spendings- 11. Contribute to the analysis of the LOAs (Opex submission)- 12. Identify and Share best practice sharing with markets- 13.

Support he Marketing Team and the VP Marketing in all transversal, cross-brand projects that might pop-up- Key stakeholders:

  • EMEA Marketing Directors and Group managers
  • EMEA Marketing (regional team)
  • Global Lens Marketing Team
  • All COEs: Training Team (Leonardo), Trade-Marketing, SEO, Social, PR

  • Someone with an experience within FMCG or similar B2B2C model as ours
  • Someone with strong Marketing experience, mastering the building of an offer (consumer insight, marketing concept) and all the aspects of the

pricing, product, distribution, communication

  • This person should have proven success in building Go To Market Plans for innovations
  • This person has experience in managing a brand on the market
  • Someone with experience in category growth and associated strategic planning
  • Someone keen to understand the technology behind the ophthalmic lenses
  • Strong Digital, Social and CRM understanding and track record
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and come with new ideas
  • Leadership skills / "Soft skills"
