Duties:

The Joint Mission Management (JMM) office supports two U.S. Missions in France that include almost 1200 employees. The footprint of this organization expands across five constituent posts and multiple other sites and offices.

This position serves as the key advisor and Aide-de-Camp to the Mission France and USOECD Management Minister-Counselor (MC) and Management Officer, and also performs the full range of logístical, administrative and oversight duties needed to support the work and responsibilities of the supervisors and provides extensive work plan guidance and coordination to a section of 44 American and 219 LE Staff.


Qualifications and Evaluations:

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three years experience working in an administrative, managerial or policy-related position for the U.S. Government or for a large, established multi-national organization is required.


JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Excellent command of grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Mandatory:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Affairs, Political Affairs, English or related major is required.

Must be an excellent writer, both as an editor and drafter.

SALARY:

the
annual gross salary includes: the profit-sharing allowance, the vacation allowance, the bonus allowance and the "Comité d'Entreprise" allowance.


MEAL TICKETS:
Meal tickets have a face value of EUR 8.25/day. 60% of the daily amount is paid by the U.S. Government. An employee contribution of EUR 3.30 per ticket will be deducted in payroll. The number of meal tickets is limited to 202 workdays per year.


TRANSPORTATION:
Employees are eligible for a reimbursement of 50% of the cost of public transportation passes purchased for commuting purposes.


HOLIDAYS:
The U.S. Missions in France observe eleven U.S. holidays per year and up to ten French holidays.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

HIRING PREFERENCE ORDER:
