We are currently looking for a IT system Administrator to join our stable but IT team.

Reporting to IT Manager EMEA**
Job Summary


This position will work with key individuals and internal IT staff based in the EMEA region to support existing and new hardware / software systems.

This role will primarily support our French office.

You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for employees working in the regional offices located in Primarily in France but will when needed support, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, UK & South Africa

(This may be extended should more offices be introduced that fall within the EMEA region). They will also be responsible for managing physical and virtual server environments by deploying and maintaining operating system software, patches, and upgrades.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain network servers, setting up and maintaining operating systems software, patches and upgrades in physical and virtual environments
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues throughout the network environment
  • Assist in maintaining system backups and recovery systems.
  • Administering the operation of LAN/WANrelated network services and devices
  • Assist IT department in operation of computers, local area network(s), and other office equipment.
  • Maintain the EMEA helpdesks assisting both end users and other members of the support team where necessary.

Required Technical and Functional Skills

  • Experience in deploying and managing server operating systems.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructures, including switches, firewalls, routers, VLANs, etc.
  • General IT technical design expertise, problem solving and debugging skills.

Functional skill:

  • Provides high level of customer service to end users
  • Works well in collaborative team environments, as well as individually
  • Proficient writing and communications skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Seeks collaborative solutions and applies best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in relevant system vendors, including Microsoft, Cisco, Mitel or other similar network certifications

Education:


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technical documentation.
