Job Description Summary:
In this role you are responsible for
- lead all relevant HR transformation & separation activities with regard to the

proposed set-up of Steam Services in France. In this regard, the role will

partner closely with the relevant Steam Power and GE HR stakeholders to

coordinate the common HR activities, policies and processes accordingly.
- provide HR client support to people leaders and employees in scope of

Steam Services located in Belfort and in this regard work closely with the

key business leaders and global HR Business partners.

Le rôle de Responsable Ressources Humaines Senior consiste à:

  • Coordonner toutes les activités pertinentes de transformation et de
séparation des Ressources Humaines en tenant compte de la nouvelle

organisation de Steam Services en France. À cet égard, ce rôle travaillera en

étroite collaboration avec les parties prenantes de Steam Power et RH GE

pour coordonner les activités, la politique et processus RH.

  • Fournir un support client RH aux managers et salariés de Steam Services
situé à Belfort tout en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec les

Responsables Business et les HR Business Partners globaux.


Essential Responsibilities

As part of HR Client Group responsibilities

  • Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership and coaching to all levels of the organization.
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations and implement appropriate development plans.
  • Drive HR accountability in terms of main deliverables re performance management, people reviews, recruitment
  • Handle complex processes, issues and situations (immigration, disciplinaries )
  • Provide appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and individual contributors.
  • Organize people leader and all employee communications when it comes to important information or training to be communicated across the client group, support workshop facilitation.
  • Support any organizational or change program (workday, org design,..).
  • Contribute and participate in KPI's and activities as part of the Lean journey of the HR organization.
  • Be a culture and engagement champion, foster spirit of collaboration and performance as well as a diverse and inclusive work environment.

As part of the preparation of the future Service Co organization:

  • Act as the HR point of coordination for any common HR decision/plan to be made for the new legal entity with key stakeholders
  • Ensure preparation and Organization of the professional elections of the new LE Employee representation
  • Complete side by side analysis of the benefits and preparation of the harmonization prework with the Total rewards & benefits team
  • Ensure deployment of the prenegotiated GPEC agreement (comité de suivi, mobilité interne, support à la mobilité externe)
  • Other activities include (ensure payroll readiness for the new legal entity with support from the GE shared service team, ensure readiness of HR providers list for new legal entity crèche, healthcare & life insurance, social assistant, ) with support of TR team.

Desired Characteristics

  • 10+ years of HR experience including Business experience a plus
  • Bac+5 HR degree, mastering key HR processes (recruitment, salary planning cycles, talent management,)
  • Ability to organize yourself and work well and deal with high workload in a dynamic and complex context;
  • Excellent skills dealing with problem resolution; capacity to take decisions independently, and ability to manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing and evolving context
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws in France and experience working and managing Employee representatives' bodies in France
  • Strong with processes and data management with experience translating data into action planning
  • Experience in effectively influencing in teams with and without direct managerial responsibility
  • Proven coaching and influencing capabilities Strong communication skills and experience building relations at all levels of the organization
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and experience to drive programs independently
  • Capacity to promote change in efficient and participative manner
  • Bilingual in English and French
