Position:

Christian Dior couture is looking for its new Graphic designer.

Reporting directly to the Fabrics and Graphics Development Director, and widely to the Artistic and Design Directors, you will be responsible for the research and development of seasonal graphics for placed logos, embroideries, and prints.

MISSIONS:

You will be overseeing and reworking seasonal iconic Dior logos as well as researching and creating new ones, following the seasonal brief set by the the Artistic Director.
You will be responsible for the seasonal colour card.
Starting at the point of the design week, you will identify with the Artistic Director and Design Director which colours they want to concentrate on for the season, identify Pantones that correspond to those references and distribute the colour card to the studio to start making lab dips and trials for the collection.
You will also be the point of contact in the studio for colour consistency, signing off lab dips and making sure there is colour consistency across the departments.

Another important part of this role is the coordination of collaborations.

This involves helping identify the types of graphics we might want to make with the collaborator, being the main point of contact in the studio with said collaborator to ensure things are on track and on time, and making and updating a collaboration line sheet, to be shared during the process of the collection, with the studio and with the legal department.

Profile:

You will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a fashion studio, ideally high fashion or luxury, working directly with designers.

You are a person with a highly developed aesthetic sensitivity, with also strong design and conceptual skills.

You are an organised person, for instance in time management. However, you have strong communication skills, with a good team spirit.
