Short description:

Product Manager for CAD software plugin-package in the Reality Capture division of Hexagon Geosystems.


Tasks in detail:


  • Conduct the
    Product Management of the CAD software package
  • Drive the highlevel product roadmap: market needs, scenario usage, market positioning
  • Perform competition analysis
  • Define high level specifications of the features
  • Liaise and collaborate closely with development team (located in Lyon and in the US)
  • Execute the release activities of the product (validation and promotion of new releases)
  • Execute and review sales analysis
  • Crossfunctional team management & collaboration to maintain a 12month rolling roadmap and 12 to 36month roadmap vision:
  • Assess and address technical risks of requirement implementation plan
  • Coordinate with R&D for requirement analyses and estimations to prepare feature/epic resource allocation and integration to the Rolling Roadmap during monthly roadmap updates
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood by R&D and that implementation plans match expectations
  • Align the product strategy with the Reality Capture vision
  • Coordinate with other Product Managers
  • Encourage the modularization of the product components across the software portfolio
  • Understand and analyze data workflow
  • Active as an
    Ambassador of the product
  • Be a recognized product expert
  • Represent the enduser in front of the R&D team (voice of customer)
  • Support demonstrations and training webinars
  • Sales & Support Enablement:
  • 3rd Level Support PM contact
  • Deliver and review customerfacing technical material provided by marketing or documentation teams for completeness and accuracy before release/publish (e.g., technical specs, help documentation, etc.)
  • Active as a
    Project Manager for the product
  • Understand business requirements and translate those into technical requirements to maintain a 12month rolling roadmap
  • Act as a Team facilitator with organization of daily meetings and technical exchanges between the various stakeholders
  • Define work packages from requirements (actionable components of a project scope)
  • Define Epic/Story requirements and prioritize the backlog
  • Define Project Scope contents and goals
  • Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance in coordination with the QA team

  • Code languages: any skills would be appreciated
- "Project Management" tools (JIRA, MIRO, Confluence,): an experience would be appreciated, in particular in JIRA toolset that is deployed in the team organization.
