Job Summary

Our Internal Audit team is keen on welcoming a new Senior IT Internal Auditor.

Job Functions

The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed.   • Plans and monitors department and project goals within budgeted times using audit techniques and technologies, prioritizing multiple relationships and tasks.
  • Reviews and approves planning memos, audit programs, work papers, and audit reports.
  • Develops and maintains business knowledge and relationships with Nissan companies and conducts client feedback studies to improve audit programs and reports.
  • Performs evaluation of internal control risks and potential for process improvements of Nissan operating units, vendors, and computer systems.
  • Ensures audit objectives are met including testing for adequacy of internal controls and systems controls, process efficiency, and compliance with corporate policy and vendor contracts.
  • Computes and reports audit results, documents recommendations and solutions to reduce business risk and improve efficiency.
  • Management Accountabilities: Has fulltime and contract subordinates. Supervises and provides leadership, coaching, guidance, training, and staff development; interviews and hires employees; plans and evaluates employee performance; recommends merit increases, transfers, and promotions; counsels and disciplines employees as necessary; recommends termination when appropriate; monitors time and attendance of subordinates.
Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

Job Knowledge and Skill:

Strong knowledge of management information systems terminology, concepts, and practices. Demonstrated knowledge of J-SOX IT assessment methods, and concepts of business process auditing. Excellent business writing skills, conflict resolution, interpersonal, networking, organization, presentation, problem solving, and project management skills. Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential materials.

Experience:

Two or more years' experience, providing leadership, coaching, guidance, training, and contributing to staff development.

Education:


Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and professional audit certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) required; an advanced degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Computer Skills:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word) and project management software. Knowledge of SharePoint, IDEA, ACL, and Microsoft Access software is preferred.
