As Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful integration of BD Solutions into the hospital environment, as Medication safety & Automation represents a strategic growth area for BD.

You work closely with the Pharmacy and IT departments within hospital environments and assess the IT infrastructure including recommendations to allow hospital IT readiness.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement and support system interfaces to/from BD.
  • Conduct discussions of BD solutions' technical requirements with the customer.
  • Support sales in solution discussions to define technical scope.
  • Manage installation and support of interface software (deploy VM, install MSI's and/or turnkey solutions) for interfacing products to meet established project delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers; determine priorities and risks associated to specific projects.
  • Comply with all Integration Engineer Policies and Procedures.
  • Collaborate with peers in other regions to ensure that processes, procedures and product knowledge is up to date.
  • Provide written and verbal communications to team and client regarding technical requirements, issues and status of project.
  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Maintain interface stability and updates for all assigned accounts.
  • Provide Customer/Distributor Helpdesk and remote support for interfaces.
  • Support interfaces during system upgrades
  • Provide product feedback, technical insight, and customer requirements to Product Development.
  • Adhere to organization and department policies, quality procedures and protocols.
  • Actively engage with Quality Management System requirements
  • Ensure all relevant processes are performed per internal SOP's and Service documentation

Skills/Experience:


  • You have a degree in Computer Science IT or proven working successful experience in IT (Solid IT skills in the use of Windows, Database, and Server based solutions, VMs, Networking Administration or a mixture of these).
  • Ability to selfeducate in unfamiliar IT environments.
  • You have effective communication skills and ability to interface with different nationalities and backgrounds.
  • You are analytical with good problem solving skills.
  • You are strong at effective planning, prioritization, and organizing skills.
  • You are able to think in a creative manner and address all technical challenges to allow timely project delivery.
  • Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written. German is a plus.
  • Valid drivers' license and passport.
  • You have experience in integration projects.
  • Experience within healthcare IT environment (HL7 experience) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and overseas.

IV Travel requirements & Location of the position:

The position is home-based [around 80%-90%] and can be located anywhere in France [Make sure please to have a very good internet connection].


The remaining 10-20% of working time requires overnight travelling across the Region in support of colleagues & customers, as required.


Training courses and conferences outside of the Region will be required from time to time [at least once - twice per year].
