What you will be doing
As part of the New Markets Business Development Team, you'll be in the right seat during Satispay's amazing journey and give your contribution to empower and bring an impactful boost to our Supernetwork growth
Satispay is growing massively in France, and we are looking for passionate people to support our expansion.

As such, you will be responsible for merchant acquisition performance, but also for supporting a team of Business Developers under your responsibility.

You will be responsible for introducing and onboard small businesses and daily merchants to Satispay's payment service platform.

You will be strengthening Satispay's presence in the field by contactin a list of prospects, creating your network and sharing information with the rest of the Business Development Team, facilitating the creation of a merchant base in your target area.

Our team has tripled in a few months, with 6 cities opened, and this is just the beginning.
The opportunity to develop other cities in France, areas, markets outside of France may present itself in the future.

As Business Development Team Lead your main tasks will be:

  • scouting, contacting and driving new merchants to join our SuperNetwork
- dealing with small/medium merchants
- promoting our several payment solutions to the so-called "independent businesses", through outbound activities, within the strategic geographical areas and merchant categories assigned to you
- ensuring the area performance through the acquisition of strategic merchants. You will work to suggest Satispay to small independent merchants such as restaurants, pubs, bars, small convenience stores or supermarkets, grocery stores, clothing etc.
- coaching and training your Business Development Team to ensure the right performance in every area

  • Focus on behaviours, Pitch Style, Shadowing : identify the key behaviours leading to success (e.g. how to pick a street, how to track progress etc )
  • Focus on Inputs: visits, meetings, closing
- taking data-driven actions and being flexible to change course if needed
- analysing results to identify new growth opportunities
- monitoring trends and reporting to the Management team
- becoming the face of Satispay in the area and be the point of contact for local activities
- challenging yourself and using your communication and negotiation skills to build an effective relationship with each customer, convincing each of them to join the Satispay merchants' community in a very short time period (ideally 15 min).

  • Concrete Network in the city with Merchants, Retailers, Shops
- stamina and the right energy level to make several visits every day
- ability to concretely turn data, insights and initiatives into contracts, together with great ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your daily tasks
- result-oriented attitude and target driven approach
- knowledge of GSuite and basic spreadsheet skills
- proven experience in sales in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is considered a plus

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience on the field
- dynamicity and flexibility, high motivation and results oriented approach. Knowledge and passion for the Fintech industry constitutes an advantage
