- data structures and basic algorithms in low dimensional topology/quantum topology,
- computational hardness and finer complexity analysis (parameterized complexity, quantum complexity, approximations) of problems in low dimensional topology/quantum topology,
- combinatorial and topological complexity of knots and 3-manifolds, in connection with algorithms,
- advanced C++/Python software development in the field.
- pursue fundamental research on algorithmic, computational complexity, and combinatorial questions in low dimensional topology and/or quantum topology,
- write research articles and disseminate results.

We are opening a 1-year postdoctoral position at Inria , within the DataShape group. The successful candidate will collaborate with Clément Maria (www-). The starting date is flexible, and should be before October 1st 2024 . The position will be funded through the ANR project AlgoKnot.
