Job title of the line manager: Team Leader Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To act as a technical and functional adviser coordinating and supervising the work of a group.

To guarantee the level of quality produced by the team and its goal/target achievement.

Objective and mission

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

  • Coordinate and supervise the activity
  • Ensure implementation of the resources required to achieve your targets, and flag up issues where necessary
  • Organize your team(s) to suit the activity concerned
  • Lead, coordinate and manage a group
  • Assist operators by providing them with instructions and explanations in the event of problems
  • Carry out regular visual checks of team progress
  • Contribute to human resources management tasks (training, induction, etc.)
  • Be proactive in proposing, and taking part in, continuous improvement initiatives Report any issue, productivity gap, technical problems, etc. to your line manager
  • Complete the dashboard of indicators for the activity
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring that employee skills are developed in line with business developments and the needs of the organization


The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
