Overview

Arkane Studios is one of the most renowned development studios in the video game industry. Founded in 1999, the studio is owned by ZeniMax Media and Microsoft XBox.

Arkane is known for its creative worlds and first-person action games, including the _Dishonored_ and _Prey_ franchises, which have won multiple "Game of the Year" awards.

Our newest title _Deathloop_ released on September 14, 2021, for PlayStation 5 and PC is another hit

The studio is located in the Lyon Confluence district, a place of greenery, sports, gastronomy and music.

Responsibilities:

Ensure a fluid communication between outsourcing vendors and internal animation team
Create and maintain documentation for outsourcing vendors
Prepare data and guidelines according to technical constraints and animation intentions in close collaboration with the Animation Director
Manage planning and milestone in close collaboration with the Producer and Animation Director
Provide artistic & technical feedback in close collaboration with the Animation Director
Data tracking, checking and in engine integration

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years as an animator
Excellent knowledge of Maya & Motion Builder
Ability to communicate animation direction in an effective, efficient & positive manner.
Excellent knowledge of animation principles (timing, spacing, posing)
Excellent knowledge of anatomy & body mechanics
Strong keyframing experience
Experience in motion capture post animation
Experience with game engine
Team spirit
Excellent communication skills in French & English, written & spoken
