The IT Service engineer is a determining factor in the operation and success of our business.

You will assist all Service and Sales Employee's with duties and tasks as required to improve service performance and delivery of required IT projects across the Mindray Device portfolio.

You will support customers and MRFR teams on any IT request related to the MRFR installed base. This includes WIFI Audits, installation support, IT configuration, issue resolution, IT evolution, upgrade, internal and customer trainings.

Your responsibilities:


  • Act as a team leader for the Service IT Support function/team
  • Provide IT Technical support to Mindray France FSE's and customers
  • Act as a bridge and escalation point between the Service Team and the IT Product Specialists
  • Act as a Service IT lead for installations and coordinate IT challenges/workload in line with company structure
  • Assist with IT system faults and diagnostics
  • Assist with training, sharing knowledge and developing FSEs
  • Assist with the completion of site drawings, documentation, and notes
  • Ability to carry out a wireless site survey and analyse the results
  • Work closely with the France & EU IT Product team (IT product specialists)
  • Discuss and resolve IT issues with IT Product Specialists and local Service Manager
  • Willingness to be in a national fieldbased role, supporting customers and travelling as required to perform the role
  • Cover general PMLS service tasks if required, due to absence, leave or sickness
  • Other tasks or responsibilities designated by the Service Manager

What are we looking for in you?

Excellent communication French level to interact with French team and customer and perform training:


  • You will be able to work in France without the requirement of company sponsorship:
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent High School Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or computer engineering with ideally 2 years' relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal English skills are essential
  • Customer orientated, with good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivering Technical based Training
  • Technically proficient in the troubleshooting and repair of all IT medical products
  • Knowledge of IP Networks and associated hardware, both wired and wireless
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and other associated protocols
  • Knowledge of Desktop and Server operating systems primarily Microsoft based W7, W10, Svr2008, Svr201
  • Understanding of HL7, both the protocol and how it integrates with hospital systems
  • Understanding of general hospital systems, DICOM, Imaging, PACS, PAS, EMR.
  • Knowledge of Mirth and its practical uses is desirable
  • Knowledge of Mindray IT Applications is desirable
  • Must be familiar with computer and office software
  • Wellorganized, able to function independently with minimum supervision
  • Enthusiastic together with a cando attitude
  • A knowledge and experience in medical devices and medical industry is a plus
