Role Overview:
We are looking for a Front Office Support Analyst to work within the EMEA Product Support Team.

The team requires a motivated self-starter who has good technical skills to support buy-side members in Europe and is looking for the next step in advancing their career within a dynamic environment.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring effective communication with the Londonbased EMEA team and ensuring operating procedures and best practices are consistent across the region
  • Fulfilling client customisation requests within listed derivatives, algorithmic trading systems and the Liquidnet MTF platform
  • Troubleshooting and analysis of order routing and trade flow and posttrade issues
  • Create and track issues within an incidenttracking system to help identify trends and patterns
  • Create and monitor internal reports and usage queries
  • Assist with product testing and project work
  • Provide early coverage for EMEA start of day issues, complimenting the current support coverage from 7am 6pm
  • Contribute towards 'follow the sun' support model, working closely with global teams in APAC and US to ensure premarket health checks are performed for each region
  • Performing regional start of day health checks to ensure all processes are up and members are connected to the platform
  • Occasional weekend work will be required during major upgrades and out of hours testing

Experience / Competences:

  • Support experience within a financial institution (buyside, sellside, venue/platform provider)
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of the FIX protocol
  • Application support experience within a Unix / Linux environment
  • Basic understanding of Listed Derivatives and Equity market mechanics and flows
  • Familiarity of MSSQL, Oracle or Sybase database environments, including querywriting
  • Experience of supporting Windows Server environments
  • Experience in troubleshooting basic network problems: i.e. firewall and routing problems
  • Automation and scripting experience
  • Exposure to supporting messagebased architecture
  • Experience supporting Fidessa GTP or equivalent listed derivatives systems
  • Working knowledge of at least one buyside or sellside Order Management System
  • Experience with industrystandard monitoring tools (ITRS or similar)
  • Experience in programming or scripting languages
  • The role will suit someone who relishes in the pressure of working in a frontoffice support environment, supporting an expanding business and improving support functions
  • Motivated selfstarter who takes ownership of responsibilities, and can work autonomously
  • Deeply analytical and disciplined approach to problemsolving
  • Disciplined approach towards Service Level Agreement adherence and minimising
Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR)

  • Ability to confidently communicate at all stakeholder levels (technical, client, trader etc)
  • Must be motivated by customer satisfaction
  • Good organisational skills
  • Willing to embrace core business values demonstrated by daytoday work ethic
  • Must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and helping other departments within the company
