The Senior Security Manager contributes to the security of Siemens Energypersonnel, assets, and operations in Brazil and in Latinamerica, as part of theSiemens Energy Corporate Security organization (SE EQS SEC).

The Senior SecurityManager is responsible for supporting the implementation and compliance with SiemensEnergy security governance requirements, including but not limited to traveland project security, security incident management, crisis management andbusiness continuity, asset protection and physical security, executive andevent protection, situation and threat analysis.

The holder ofthe position provides tactical guidance, operational support, and securityconsulting to Siemens Energy regional/local Management, Siemens Energy employees,the Head of Security for Latinamerica, and working in close cooperation withexternal and internal stakeholders.
There is a further responsibilityto promote security awareness, conduct trainings (in close collaboration withother functions such as Cyber Security) and to deliver proportionate andcosteffective security measures to support the achievement of businessobjectives, as well as seeking to simplify and improve processes and procedures.

What You Bring

Relevant academic degree, a professional qualification from a recognizedsecurity authority or appropriate security experience through working withinlaw enforcement, regulatory enforcement, military, academic, or equivalentexperience.
Ten years of experience working in corporate security or a similarenvironment in high or mediumrisk countries, including practical experience ofproject management, incident and crisis management, in a multinational company,a security company, or similar experience.
Indepth knowledge of the main political and security issues and trends inLatinamerica is an advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strongnetworking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
Excellent command of English. Spanish is an advantage.
Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective mannerwith mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple anddiverse tasks.
Ability to analyze and assimilate information from diverse sources,including local and international media outlets, social media outlets, localinformation sources etc.
Effective problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure intime critical situations, willingness to work outside of regular working hoursin time critical situations.
Wiliness to travel extensively, including in highrisk areas and/or countries.
Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic,tribal, and cultural groups.
Proven integrity and high personal standards of behaviour.
Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment,as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverseaudiences.
