The job:


_ Home office-based role in the region of Paris,France._

_ 30-50% travel time in the EMEA region._

_ Fluent in English and French._


You will be part of a highly motivated team of EMEA Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, and Channel Managers embedded in a matrix organization with flat hierarchies, an open communication culture and outstanding team spirit.

  • The Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Pharma, Chemistry, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Life Sciences, and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in R&D, Quality Inspection, and Process Monitoring, where customers put a premium on accuracy, adaptability, reliability and ease of use. MSD is an exciting division with a global footprint, high tech product portfolio and diverse customer base._

What will you do?

  • Conduct installations, trainings, and after sales support to end customers in the region
  • Support EMEA region with focus on Southern Europe (Fr, Sp, Pt, It), Middle East, North Africa
  • Participate in marketing events, workshops and trade fairs
  • Collaborate with channel managers to support sustainable growth in the regions

Who we are looking for:


  • University degree in Physics, Optics or related field
  • Alternatively, you may have worked at a laboratory equipment sales / distributor business
  • Experience in business development will be valued
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with customers and colleagues form many different cultures
  • Customer focus, with a professional demeanor
  • Proficient in both French and English
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (app. 30 to 50 % of working time), including overnight stays
  • Valid driver's licence
