Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of Shoes PD, the resource will be in charge of the development of the men's shoes collections. The role responsibilities include (but are not limited to) coordinating key activities with the design and merchandising teams based in Paris, and a constant collaboration with the technical and PD team based in Italy. The resource will be managing launches with factories, raw material procurement, closely monitoring timings, in respect of the development budget and of the merchandising brief.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in footwear product management, strong communication and organizational skills, with proven ability to manage priorities to respect deadlines, and manage pressure working in a fast–paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage men's Precollection and Show collections development, working in close relationship with design and R&D department from sketch to proto and finally samples, managing a smooth handover to industrialization and production department along the full development journey
• Independent management of a tight PD calendar in line with all departments' deadlines, with strong ability to harmoniously align key stakeholders around all deadlines, to guarantee on time delivery of samples for fittings and showroom
• Raw material research briefing and follow up in collaboration with our research partner in Italy
• Raw material orders for all protos and final samples
• Liaise with team based in Italy for PLM styles codification and BOMs creation
• Post-fitting comments formalization and communication to technical team/vendors
• Product technical brief to merchandising team before each buying session
• Manage workflow and development plan of one PD assistant

The Ideal Candidate:

• BA degree
• Strong Knowledge of the shoes PD process with 4+ years experience in shoes Product development for a luxury brand
• Computer literate - Excellent skills in MS office, with focus on Excel and PPT
• Mastering PLM system and ability to use the tool
• Deep understanding of technical development process and ability to establish correct information flows throughout
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills, with precision and accuracy
• Excellent time management skills (work on tight agenda and set deadlines), able to reprioritize activities in an agile way both autonomously and in accordance with manager inputs
• Able to work under pressure on multiple tasks, providing high quality work results
• Proactive and problem solving attitude
• Natural team player, embracing team mentality and collaboration with rest of PD team in Paris and in Italy and vendor base, showing excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken Italian, good knowledge of English language, written and spoken
• Ability to travel frequently as required by business
