Description:

He/She is in charge of the Group Costing methodology for quotations of our new business acquisitions. The Costing dept must build the bridge between the actual costs and future costs of our facilities.

His/Her main missions are to ensure the update of the Costing database and methodology but also to improve our Costing methodology in order to support our business closely and to support our plants to use better their ERP for Costing, transfer price calculation & cost control.

The main missions are:

1/ Costing methodology

Define & update the costing methodology to be used worldwide.
Support any Regions for Costing process.
Ensure the technical data collection
Update all technical and economic databases for Costing methodology.
New tools to be implemented: costing for parts bought from external suppliers.
Improve the Costing for Semi Finished Product plants.
Overheads and costing parameters calculations (once a year) based on plant data.
Improve the system => Costing must be performed with ERP not on Excel basis: process, training, checks,...
Check the consistency between the plant costing parameters and Costing parameters for acquisition.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate project cost estimation, including labor, materials, equipment, and other projectrelated expenses.

2/ Transfer Price (Budget & Actual)

Provide transfer pricing support for the company's global operations, including developing transfer pricing policies, performing transfer pricing analyses, and ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
Keep up to date with changes in transfer pricing regulations and standards and provide recommendations for compliance improvements.
Ensures the right balance between sellers & buyers for Budget assumptions.

3/ Actual costing in ERP

Costing dept ensures that our plants use their ERP (mainly SAP) to calculate their current costing: to write procedures, to train teams, validate actual costing parameters, etc.
Validate the inventory valuation methodology in accordance with APG rules + local rules.
Collaborate with ERP team to ensure accurate and timely recording of costs and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the actual costing process.

4/ Serial Product Margin follow up (each quarter)

Supports plants to calculate their margin per product each quarter, support of ERP, costs allocation, etc.
Consolidates, analyzes and challenges the data in order to protect our margins.
Followup on serial product margins each quarter to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

5/ Tooling report

The costing dept could be a backup for tooling reports.

Qualifications:

Engineer, industrial engineer, business economist (master's degree or equivalent) or a comparable qualification
Wellfounded, minimum 8/10 years' experience of professional experience in costing, production, manufacturing engineering, automotive market
Technical products oriented and strong understanding of economic and technical interrelationships
SAP and Excel knowledge
Ability to improve systems, processes, to train and coach people.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, analytical and synthesis skills.
English fluent, German and/or Italian appreciated.
Willingness to travel
