We are looking for a
Global Talent Development Specialist based in Saint Ouen - Paris ( France) or Cluj ( Romania).

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and curios person to join the Global Talent Development Team in the areas of people management, leadership development and diversity & inclusion.

Developing our employees is a top priority at Alstom and you will work closely with the wider Talent Management Network in all countries, the whole HR Community, and various business leaders to implement our people development initiatives at global level.


In role you will:
- work on effective implementation our People Management Cycle (PMC) at global level:

  • set up and animation of the annual PMC campaign
- follow up the completion of the Talent Steps of the PMC ( as performance management, people review, people review feedback )
- work with the Alstom University to maximize the impact of the PMC and where needed design and deliver learning sessions for managers and employees
- design improvement in partnership with HR Efficiency Team
- work with Communication for PMC campaign orchestration
- ensure that all Talent related data (as leadership talent pool, participants to global talent development programs) are up to date in the relevant systems and platforms. Liaise frequently with HRIS and HR Shared Service to improve the capture and the maintenance of these data. Capture and assess the ROI (Return on investment)/Talent KPI (Key Performance Indicators) of the various talent development initiatives implemented at global level.
- contribute to the implementation of global leadership development initiatives and diversity and inclusion projects across the company
- provide support for high profile ad-hoc projects including as leadership development initiatives for executives
- support in implementing communication plans that advertise and develop engagement for leadership development programs and diversity and inclusion initiatives
- manage the sharing of talent development best practices and inspiring initiatives across the Alstom geographies through:

  • organization of regular meetings with Talent Management Network
- animation Talent Management Network and update of the community members
- promote synergies and ensure consistency between global development programs and tools, working closely with the countries to convey a clear communication of the company strategy in terms of people and leadership development to all employees
- contribute to keep abreast of industry trends in the Talent Development space suggesting new and creative development initiatives to ensure efficiency and improved business impact of talent development initiatives

We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways.

To be successful in this role, you are likely to have the following skills/experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Talent Development, Learning or Human Resources Business Partnering,
  • Handson approach and able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English.
  • Ability to interact with multiple interfaces within an organization
  • Knowledge of HRIS and databases
  • Excellent in Excel and in MS Office

Work location :

preferably based in Saint Ouen, Paris ( Alstom Headquarter) or Cluj if available to regular business trips to Saint Ouen.
