  • Qualified mechanical, electrical or electronics engineer with minimum of 710 years working experience in wind
  • WTG package or technological expert in onshore wind turbines, and ideally having experience on both turbine manufacturer and project developer side.
  • Knowledge of wind industry contract packages
  • Ability to work as a member of multidisciplinary and international team

TotalEnergies has set very ambitious targets to develop a total renewable electricity production capacity of 35 GW by 2025, growing to 100 GW by 2030 and has adopted a new Climate Ambition to get to Net Zero by 2050.

Renewable Wind Energy is at the heart of this energy transformation and has already almost 2 GW under construction and another 6 GW under development.

To support this ambition, OneTech is looking for a
Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Engineer.


The
Onshore Wind Turbine Generator Engineer will be in charge of validating turbine technology choices, which is the key equipment package contributing to competitive offshore wind projects.


His/her main activities will be as follows:

Activity Support

  • Support project teams regarding WTG contract definition and negotiation
  • Participate in and facilitate WTG supply Request For Information and tenders, support contract negotiations,
  • Establish DEVEX, CAPEX and OPEX assumptions
  • Validates suitability of onshore WTG models, in close cooperation with the Yield assessment team
  • Provide input to energy yield estimations,
  • Support and manage the WTG interface and input to foundation design processes
  • Manage Technical Due Diligence processes and technical assessment of M&A (Merge & Acquisition) opportunities
  • Lead or actively participate to the equipment qualification process
  • Ad hoc support to operating wind farm

Development of expertise**- Centralise, develop and keep up to date onshore wind turbine technology and contract know how

  • Develop design standards and provide technical feedbacks to develop the technology
  • Participate to the establishment of relationships with WTG suppliers
  • Contribute to R&D programs and technical roadmaps
