YOUR ROLE


To support the development and delivery of functional improvement initiatives (transformation and excellence, such as continuous improvement and standardization of policies and tools) to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Procurement function, and the service it provides to stakeholders and the organization to achieve the overall business objectives.

To monitor the governance & compliance with Procurement systems, processes, policies, and procedures across functions and regions.


To drive and coordinate the delivery of a range of projects as part of the Procurement governance, excellence, and transformation Program.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Support the development, implementation, and communication of the Procurement operating model (structure/strategy) and transformation roadmap
  • Act as an SME to stakeholders in identifying and prioritizing changes for existing and new process, system, and tools implementations
  • Teach and coach to build the capability of project partners and peer groups in process excellence; be a role model for ongoing process improvement activities to ensure optimal business performance
  • Perform process assessments, quantify the impact of process pain points through data analysis and define & ensure implementation of best practices solutions within the global organization
  • Develop and maintain project/process documentation, manage and track procurement project progress, identify and report risks & issues for initiatives, measure and report delivery, and milestone achievement and serve as a facilitator for improved performance across all project work streams
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders within Procurement and other functions to coordinate the work, identify, classify, and measure initiative benefits (outcomes of projects such as compliance improvement for example)
  • Ensures efficient change management (such as new systems, processes, etc. in Procurement department) in terms of communication, documentation, implementation, and training through the established methodology and with all stakeholders (across departments, with suppliers, within the Procurement department, etc.)
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Procurement or related experience.
- >3 of the relevant Procurement process and project management experience; knowledge of continuous improvement and change/project management concepts. Proven experience in developing/ deploying/ improving Procurement processes, policies, systems, and tools.

  • MS Office incl. Visio; experience and working knowledge of project management tools; sound knowledge of process design, drafting, and documentation.

Desirable

  • Degree in Supply Chain or Procurement; project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
- >5 years of experience in Process Design, and optimization, demonstrable experience of co-leading Procurement excellence and transformation activity in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, e.g., sustainability, simplification, standardization, and outsourcing of processes, implementation of Procurement related tools

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and change/ project management concepts;
