As Global Account Manager - Discouters (H/F), you will be part of the Global Customer Team (GCT), which leads and coordinate the management of our global Customers for all our categories and divisions.

The Discount Channel is one of the fastest growing channels in Food Retail.

Within this channel, we have 2 global customers discounters, already Europe's largest food retailers, who have a large growth potential for Danone.

As such, the Discount Channel is 1 of Danone's 3 "uncomfortable channels", channels which are in specific focus of the COMEX.

To further anticipate both this potential growth, as well as Discounters request for centralized customer relations, we are currently looking for an additional Global Account Manager to support the current Discount team.


Main Responsabilities:


  • Identify the growth opportunities, integrating global strategy & develop them with the Global Customer Director (GCD)
  • Engage and ensure alignment betwenn our key Country Business Units and the client on the joint business plan
  • Initiate, facilitate and participate to country toptotop meetings
  • Prepare with key countries, but execute individually, all annual negotiations
  • Cowork with the GCD to define overall customer strategy
  • Handle contractual administration
  • Codrive initiatives on SRP (shelfreadypackaging) and exchange best practices

About you
You will have over 8 years of successful commercial experience, ideally in FMCG sales with large customers, and have the following skills:

  • Strong track record in account management
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong financial skills, ability to oversee big picture
  • Ability to manage effectively difficult situations in a constantly changing environment
  • Excellent leadership skills, ability to manage and influence stakeholders
  • Experience in cross functional or country engagement
  • Experience with Discounters is a plus
