- understand how the human brain works (cognitive functions) and its limits when operating a helicopter from the cockpit,
- define and design an optimal layout of the cockpit of a helicopter according to, among others, the two previous axes,
- break down all the axes above into functional specifications (alerting function, flight monitoring, etc.),...

This new job opportunity is based in Marignane (France) & Your mission will consist in covering the following activities, H225 platform/proects related:

  • Contribute to the helicopter's certification &/or qualification with regards to Cockpit Operations aspects.

Tasks & accountabilities
In addition to the main roles listed above, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Define an optimal flight crew interface in the helicopter according to the Human Factors integration aspects. This includes describing the cockpit arrangement, the control panels, the display concepts, the alerting concept, the lighting concept, etc.
  • Conduct the evaluations both for design validation and qualification purposes.
  • Provide substantiation to the qualification requirements relevant to cockpit design organization.

Some business trips are potentially to be expected (three times a year as first estimation) in France/Europe and, therefore, you must be willing to travel accordingly.
