    LANXESS FRANCE is currently seeking strong, motivated, and talented individuals with the appropriate technical experience to be part of the EMEA Technical Team for the position of:

    EMEA Technical Manager - Biosecurity Solutions.

    Location:

    LANXESS site in LAVAL, suitable home-based candidates would be expected to travel to the LAVAL site at least twice a month.

    As our Technical Manager, your purpose will be to provide technical and scientific training, supervision, and support regarding products and services to colleagues, distributors, end users, and related bodies in the livestock (swine & poultry) industry within the EMEA region, with a particular focus on France and the Middle Eastern & African (MEA) countries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To support the business of the market segment LANXESS Biosecurity Solutions in EMEA countries, with a primary focus on France and the Middle East & African countries.
    • Provide technical and scientific training for internal colleagues and business partners.
    • Assist the sales team, including replying to inquiries and questions.
    • Assist and work closely with business partners: visit distributors, answer inquiries.
    • Conduct and assist with laboratory trials, field trials (commercial and/or non-commercial).
    • Create and/or review technical/marketing materials (e.g. presentations, technical sheets, sales literature, product labels).
    • Contribute to the business strategy of product-related development projects.
    • Expert image & network: participate in the organisation of events and create a good image as a biosecurity leader (e.g. provide technical speech).
    • Technical and competitor watch.

    About you

    • Knowledge in agricultural, zootechnical and animal scientific studies: agricultural engineer, animal production, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine
    • Experience working internationally and with a poultry focus is advantageous.
    • Strong and proactive communication skills-verbal and written.
    • Fluent in English and French. Arabic advantageous.
    • Influencing, communication and IT Presentation skills
    • Flexibility and ability to travel 30-40% of the time, mainly in France and to the MEA countries, depending on the needs of the business
