This position is part of VFS Global Headquarters and reports to the SVP, Strategy and Innovation. The location for this role will be Lyon, France.
This is how you could make an impact

VFS is positioned at the center of massive change taking place in transportation and FinTech.

You, as the RTFS Rental & Fleet Management Director role, will seek to create opportunities to accelerate new services development made possible by these external changes for Renault Trucks customers, with an initial focus on full-service leasing and fleet management.

You will:
Create and maintain new services roadmap for RTFS in line with the VFS and Renault Trucks business strategies
Lead deep dive analysis on new technologies focusing on fullservice leasing and fleet management potential partners supporting Renault Trucks strategic priorities
Develop a suite of Fleet Management Products to enhance RTFS's share of customers' overall Fleet spend and embed ourselves deeper in their organisation and closer to their decisionmaking.
Use Fleet Management as a mechanism to deliver customers' priorities of cost, compliance, vehicle availability and environmental impact to make them more likely to take our core products.
Develop incubation plans with Renault Trucks market leaders for new service pilot activity and scaling
Lead proof of value projects for new services
Design new service delivery processes and operational fulfillment capabilities
Ensure smooth transition from new services pilot project execution to full scale operations

Who are you?

You have:

A university degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
15+ years of experience with the transportation/financial services sectors
10+ years of new service development and/or innovation management experience
A deep knowledge of the fleet management key players and segment landscape in Europe
Furthermore, you are fluent in English and French, other languages would be appreciated.
More specifically, you have:
A proven leadership capability
A business acumen, by knowing current and future practices and trends, affecting capital equipment and captive finance globally
A political savvy, by maneuvering through complex organizations effectively and quietly and by understanding the corporate holistic view
Excellent presentation skills
A drive for results, by steadfastly pushing yourself and others for results and by exceeding goals successfully.
