You are a postdoctoral researcher, and would like to expand your experience with a stay in a French research group ? You are ready for a new challenge and an international career? You would like to broaden your network and mature as an independent researcher ? Then the Marie Sklodowska Curie Action (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship (PF) from the Horizon Europe programme is made for you


What is the "Springboard toward Marie Sklodowska Curie" ?:

two-day stay will be funded

up to July 15th for meeting, training and support. Nantes Université will give the fellow the opportunity to come t

o Nantes for 2 days to meet his/her supervisor and work on the writing of the project. This grant cover the event expenditures up to 1000€ for EU countries and up to 2000€ for non-EU countries: travel, hotel and subsistence expenses (for 2 days and 2 nights). Visa fees are not covered.

Visa: if a visa is required to come to France, it is strongly advised to make an appointment with the relevant authorities well in advance to obtain the document in time. You can find the relevant information here.


About the MSCA PF scheme:


MSCA PF is a great option if

The goal of MSCA PF is
to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral mobility.

MSCA PF are
open to excellent researchers of any nationality.

They provide funding for researchers (the grant usually covers up to two years salary, a mobility allowance, research costs) and overheads for the host institution.

Postdoc researchers submit proposals for funding together with their planned host organisation under the umbrella of their supervisor. Proposals are evaluated on research quality, the researcher's future career prospects, and the support offered by the host organisation.

Who can apply?:


Researchers who:
- have
completed a PhD or will complete it at the date of the EU call deadline_,_
- have
a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research at the time of the EU call deadline,
- have
not resided or carried out their main activity _(work, studies, etc..._) in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the EU call deadline.
