Mission

  • As a key member of the CSO team you will be responsible for the Pfeiffer Vacuum Global Service strategy to develop Service sales, to ensure overall performance of Service operations and to deploy the strategy with the Global Service network.
  • Create an effective Global organization with strategic and Global overview of key Service activities:
  • Work within the CSO group to execute Service key tasks
  • Matrix/dotted line responsibility for the major Service entities
  • Drive the Global Service strategy and local execution capability/competencies
  • Service & Sales Alignment
  • Ensure the service and Sales organizations are aligned and highly motivated in terms of resource, targets, incentives, service product sales, customer visits
  • Manage the Service S&OP and drive the pipeline and forecast of Service orders

_ Scope of responsibilities :

Service Portfolio

Develop a service product portfolio that is effective and compelling and meets the diverse customer and business needs and easy to sell:

  • Develop a service product portfolio, including standardization, upgrades, retrofits
  • Co-Develop / deploy digital Service solutions
Service Marketing & Promotion (Internally & Externally)- Define a feedback process on opportunities

  • Define service promotion and advertising programs and implement internally and externally
  • Define communication process with key messages and communicate proactively to customers
  • Services Financial Management
  • Implement a system of P&L and margin monitoring and control
  • Define, implement and manage service deal approval process
  • Acquisition : Identify key acquisition targets for revenue Growth, Service Reach, Completeness of portfolio
  • Service Operations
  • Improvement and optimization of cost, Leadtime, quality & core process
  • Service CAPEX consolidation, forecast and followup
  • Optimization of the Global Service footprint and CAPEX by means of Repair Hubs, Satellites, partnerships and synergies
  • Implement a service operations organization that is efficient, effective and conducive to service business growth and customer excellence
  • Ensure robust processes and training are in place and rigidly adhered to ensure transparency, compliance and sustainability in Service operations
  • Ensure the Service Portfolio execution within Service operations, Service supply chain and Service S&OP in accordance with the global supply chain processes
  • Be the Global process owner for Service (GPO Service) for the Pfeiffer Group 1ERP project and ensure development, deployment and effective use of Global standard processes in Service
  • Be the senior management escalation point for Service issues and on occasion, the key negotiator for Pfeiffer Vacuum on strategic Service agreements.
  • Drive a common view on global Service excellence and develop a set of universal KPI's delivering a demonstrable world class performance and end to end processes
Profil


Skills and Experience:


  • Graduate in either a commercially based or engineering discipline
  • Ten years commercial experience preferably gained within a bluechip organization, including minimum 5 years' experience in Services of hightech, electro/mechanical engineering systems. A semiconductor background is a must.
  • Strong and demonstrable experience in operations management
  • Proven track record of managing diverse Global teams and comfortable working with a senior executive team
  • Proven track record in Services management including all aspect of sales, marketing, product management and customer negotiation
  • Knowledge of digitalization developments and marketing strategies
  • Highly developed communication and leadership skills.
  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, environmental standards, compliance, and commercial law
  • Knowledge of Service processes and preferably SAP experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English with German and/or French a distinct advantage
