What you will do:

The purpose of the role is to support the HSBC Continental Europe Regulatory Head of Risk Mitigation in the managing of the European Central Bank regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, annual reviews, inspections, Dear CEO letters, ad-hoc queries.

In this role you will:

Support the Wholesale Credit Risk and Business teams in defining solutions to comply with our regulatory requirements
Develop, implement and monitor a strong issue management framework
Identify root causes to issues and be pro active with a look forward approach to forthcoming regulatory challenges
Contribute to remediation work in collaboration with Business, Risk, IT, Data Office teams such as regulatory gap analysis, policies and procedures writing and deployment, training, data quality issues identification and remediation.
Monitor for the Risk Department regulatory inspection.
