MISSION:

Project Controls & Contracts Specialist/Lead

Contracts:

responsible for contract administration of allocated projects, including all commercial and contract activities associated with main contract and all subcontract and supplier requirements.

Commercial and contractual support to the Project team on all aspects of Client contract and subcontract management
Effective management of all project contractual and commercial documentation.
Ongoing administration and commercial support of subcontracts
Management of variation control process for both contracts and subcontracts.
Support Project Manager on any aspect of the project execution which deviates from the requirements of the client contract
Development of adequate subcontracts with main subcontractors
Administration of Contract and Subcontracts: formal correspondence, Invoicing, Change Orders, Liaison with Insurance, Legal DepartmentsProcurement
Submission of RFQs in collaboration with the Engineering team and Project Manager, including vendor selection, qualification, bid review, comparison, clarifications and award
Management of Project POs required by Project Engineers and Manager and establishment POs Planning
Development a Project Progress measurement procedure and monitoring / reporting progress vs baseline on monthly basis Cost Control (optional)
Supervision of Cost Control activities
Liaison with Finance department Weekly / Monthly Progress report
Development in collaboration with Project Manager, Engineering team, Logistic, Quality, HSE of the Client periodic progress reports
Liaison with Subcontractors to ensure their reporting is consistent and on time Reporting lines and interactions
Hierarchically reports to the Subsea Contracts & Insurance Manager
Operationally reports to Project Manager

PROFILE

Significant experience as a Contract Specialist/Lead with a minimum of 5 year experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Significant time spent in the negotiation and control of external service suppliers and contractors
