Context

Sakata Vegetables Europe is a subsidiary of the Japanese Sakata Seed Corporation. We operate in the EMEA

region for the development and expansion of vegetable seed activities Thanks to our wide range of vegetable

Quality, Reliability and Service.

The Business Controlling department operates for Sakata Vegetables Europe but also for the other subsidiaries

present in the EMEA zone. Its actions support the analyze the economic performance of the company to deliver

essential data for its management and guarantee its financial solidity.

Missions

You will report to the Business Control Manager, and you will join a team of 2 people. Responsible of the

reliability of analytical data, your main missions will be to:

  • Set up analytical income statements by product and business area,
  • Work in collaboration with product managers, and other subsidiaries, to collect information
necessary for the construction of consolidated profit&loss and more particularly for the split of

indirect expenses by product and by business area,

  • Improve the methodology for developing a simplified analytical income statement,
  • Assist product managers on their analysis requests (profitability, sales, forecasts, etc.),
  • Monitor standard costs and analyze gaps,
  • Participate in the development of budgets and reviews,
  • Participate in closings and deliver monthly results vs budget,
  • Participate in the standardization of analytical management tools and procedures within the various
subsidiaries operating in EMEA.

  • Check the consistency of ERP information (flow tests and financial impacts),
  • Key User Controlling on Power BI project with BI.
Profile

control / finance and an experience of 5 years minimum in business or industrial cost controlling.

Additional skills in Business Intelligence (Power BI, Cube Olap, Excel...) and an interest in these tools are

necessary to succeed in this position. Knowledge on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central ERP would be

a plus. You are fluent in English (both spoken and written).

You are a professional of great rigor with very good organizational and planning skills which enable you to work

effectively in a dynamic environment.

To carry out your missions, you need to be pro-active, curious, have a critical thinking and the ability to analyze

and synthetize data. In addition, you have dynamism, team spirit and good interpersonal skills.

This position is to be filled from 2024, January 1st, on site, in Uchaud (France), between Nîmes and Montpellier.
