Summary

Job Family Group Description - Sales / Omni-Channel:
Combines all positions within the different sales channels: retail, wholesale and e-commerce. Also includes all activities to support store management.


Job Family Description -Retail Operations:
Supports the sales process - puts displays in place, keeps stock level inventory, payment transactions, fitting or garment alterations.


Sub-Job Family Description - Tailor:
Carries out fittings, takes measurements and makes alterations to ensure a perfect fit for clients. Provides guidance to clients on style and fit.

Your Opportunity:


Alexander McQueen is looking for 1 exceptional Tailor junior who will report to the Tailor to join the team of Saint Honoré Flagship.


You will be an ambassador for the brand supporting the Saint Honoré flagship in all the activities involving measurement taking, alterations and ameliorations of RTW garments with our customers in boutique.


The tailor junior in addition to retouching RTW garments for our customers, will have to also retouch the uniforms of the sales team.


How you will contribute:

  • Presence at customer fitting on the ReadytoWear Man or Woman
  • Understand how to use tailoring techniques to compensate for different body configurations and postures and communicate this to the client in the appropriate way
  • Advise the client and the client advisors regarding alterations necessary to achieve the best possible fit for RTW garments
  • Take measurements and perform mending activities on Ready to Wear garments
  • Formulation and proposals for alterations to the customer Determination and proposal of the delivery time of the garment to the customer
  • Making adjustments
  • Planning and control of the completion times of the alterations
  • Request for replenishment of workshop supplies and raw materials and cost optimization
  • Maintenance of items on display or in stock (claw, buttons to sew)
  • Floor presence, when necessary
  • Rework of sales team uniforms

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Educated at schools of patterns making
  • 35 years tailoring experience ideally in luxury
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and confidence both with industrial sewing machines and hand stitching
  • Advanced knowledge of fabrics and hand sewing techniques including buttonholes
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organized, passionate and selfmotivated
  • Team player
  • Product sensitivity and a strong market and fashion trends knowledge, a good general culture level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening ability
  • Adaptability, Natural Curiosity, Authenticity
  • Availability, reactivity
  • Openminded and/or creativity driven
  • Strong passion for the brand
