Position description:


Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role consists in driving the Energy management system, participate to a biomass project and develop the energy culture of the mill.


Main responsibilities:


  • Follow up and analyze energy consumption
  • Monitor and improve the running of the energy tools, to achieve objectives in terms of consumption reduction
  • Support investment choice to improve energy consumption partnering with production manager and process engineer
  • Produce relevant reporting
  • Establish Energy forecast
  • Drive energy projects
  • Participate to biomass project: Gas substitution by wood or plastic
  • Ensure efficient communication between operational teams and Management
  • Set individual energy goals and assess staff on goals' achievement


  • Maintain ISO 5000

  • Issue Energy invoices for the different internal customers
  • Oversee High Voltage grid and cooling loop maintenance

Profile and qualifications:


  • Graduated Engineer with experience in industry.
  • Between 5 and 10 years of significant experience in energy management
  • Passionate about energy and its technologies, you like to develop, advance processes and projects.
  • Proposal force within the leadership team and with your peers, you know how to support change and contribute to change mindsets.
  • Strong operational involvement to prioritize safety with no compromise.
  • Analytical skills and innovation mindset, power of proposal to improve the mill technically.
  • Interest in energy process and ability to integrate into operational teams with strong technical components.
  • Flexible and adaptable, you can also demonstrate authority to your colleagues when necessary.
  • French mother tongue and good practice in English.
