Working Pattern: 6 Months Fixed Term Internship | Starting early 2024


What is the Role?
We're offering the opportunity for the right individual to join us for a 6 month internship to work as part of our European business and play a part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe

As our
Development Project Manager Assistant, you will support the Development Project Managers to launch and monitor prospecting campaigns for the identification of new wind and solar PV projects:

  • Use of the tools made available by the team for the various territorial analyses & mapping
  • Arranging appointments and discussions/negotiations with local stakeholders
  • Meetings preparation and support
  • Carrying out site visits


You will also be integrated in the process of our current portfolio, with projects at various stages of development and construction.

You will join a young, close-knit and dynamic team, beginning a new journey within SSE Renewables.


What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have or be:

  • We are looking for a dynamic and delivery focused individual with appetite for challenges and for negotiation
  • Business or Engineering Degree Qualified
  • Analytical skills and ability to show creativity to solve problems
  • Independent, and confident to speak with colleagues (both in French and English) and external stakeholders including regulators, statutory and nonstatutory advisors
  • A commercial approach to all work is expected, having the ability to challenge colleagues, stakeholders and contractors to manage risk, achieving viable solutions to permitting issues and support overall project objectives.
