Defines and issues the Engineering Management Plan.

  • Manages Project Engineering activities according to contract requirements by delivering all Work Package in compliance with the Engineering QCD commitment.
  • Manages the interfaces with Project core team and ensures Engineering internal interfaces.
  • Manage DOORS activities
  • Suggests the best compromise to reach or improve the committed QCD.
  • Ensures that changes orders are validated and included in Work Package's evolution. He/she is responsible to explain the gaps if any.
  • Manages Train System Engineer, Train Control Engineer and Train Design Engineer and their commitment for the project, to ensure the global convergence at train level.
  • Finalizes, implements and updates Engineering risks mitigation plan based on project single list of issues process.
  • Manages, communicates and escalates on critical paths linked to Engineering commitments during project Engineering weekly meeting.
  • Manages the Operational Quality in order to improve Project execution, with support of Engineering Quality Manager.
  • Manages the Global Scheduling Convergence, with support of Engineering Planning Manager.
  • Escalades for arbitration between Engineering métiers and other Engineering project actors when required for respect of QCD commitments.
  • Guarantees that all necessary actions are deployed to take into account safety requirements.
  • Ensures and challenges workload estimation updated every two weeks at least.
  • Plans and leads design review deployment with support of Engineering quality manager and Train System, Design and Control Engineers.

Education Requirement :
Mechanical Engineer

  • 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering function with railways knowledge_
Bogie, planning, mechanical engineering Good English skills
