  • Pernod Ricard launched a Global Sales & Digital Transformation as part of its ambition to lead and shape the industry growth leveraging The Conviviality Platform as its growth model.
  • As part of the Global Sales Transformation, the Group has set up a Sales Tech Center of Excellence 2 years ago to empower Sales Teams in market affiliates through the development, implementation, and evolution of bestinclass sales tech platforms to address the sales challenges of the future and contribute to the Group's ambition.
  • The Sales Tech CoE is already active on two platforms: Sales Force Automation solution for Field Sales Rep and Sales Business Planning for Key Account Managers. After a preparatory phase (including the technology and vendor selection), we are now ready to accelerate on Image Recognition with a strong ambition to deploy the capability in Pernod Ricard affiliates over the next 3 to 5 years, integrate the capability in the Sales audit process generating time gain and operational efficiencies, and amplifying granular data collection to generate market insights and feed datadriven processes.
  • In this context, the Pernod Ricard Sales Tech CoE is recruiting a Product Owner for its Image Recognition platform.
  • Job Aim:
  • Engage with all key sales and transformation functions in the relevant market cos and regions
  • Drive business convergence regarding processes & operating model
  • Maintain and share the vision of Image Recognition scope and benefits
  • Ensure with the vendor a successful implementation process in market and actively contribute to the implementation roadmap
  • Build a strong product approach internally and externally with the vendor release roadmap
  • Roles and responsibilities:
  • Drive business processes convergence
  • Partner with the sales business leads to become a domain expert and deeply understand the market companies processes to drive convergence
  • Be a strong voice for the Sales CoE and manage expectations with stakeholders across the company
  • Actively work with a crossfunctional group of stakeholders to define the features to be delivered, and gather feedback, ideas, and buyin from various groups throughout the development life cycle
  • Prepare and facilitate the alignment boards ensuring they deliver
  • Escalate any issues to the Head of the Center of Excellence
  • Maintain and share Image Recognition vision
  • Develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap with a strong focus on business impact and value and data collection management
  • Provide advancedlevel knowledge concerning the relevant users, their needs, and their pain points
  • Ensure successful inmarket implementation from the vendor is in line with Pernod Ricard expectations
  • Track and Monitor implementation KPIs with the vendor and market local resources
  • Ensure relevant resources are in place
  • Proactively support the build of an ambitious deployment roadmap and secure relevant budget and capacity
  • Collaborate with counterparts
  • Be the representative of the users, functional contributors, and product sponsor
  • Actively liaise with the Information Technologies (Procurement & Solutions)
  • Build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to encourage collaboration and open communication
  • Participate to the vendor instances on release content definition to push Pernod Ricard's requirements
  • Job Scope:
  • Internal stakeholders: Sales stakeholders of all the affiliates, IT Solutions & Procurement, Business Relationship Managers, Data and Integration Centers of Excellence, Data Office; KDPs owner
  • Key External stakeholders: Vendor + external consultants
  • Job scope: 100% international (max 30% availability to travel)
  • Profile required:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master degree from Engineering or Business School / University
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales related technologies in CPGs
  • Experience in Image Recognition Projects and Sales Force Automation
  • Agile Certified highly preferred
  • Languages and other skills:
  • Fluent in English and French. Spanish is a nice to have.
  • High leadership & communication skills in order to drive a multicultural convergence
  • Conflict solver, strategist, and critical thinker.
  • Technical Skills & tools:
  • Understanding of technology & modern architecture (data model, AI, integrations, development)
  • Jira or equivalent: sprint management, product backlog management (user stories and EPICs)

Role accountability:
The Product Owner will report directly to the to the Head of Sales Tech CoE.
