About You:


You will report to the Chief Technology Officer - UK & Western Europe and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).


Location:
this role is based at our Rouen Mill.


YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Managing a local systems environment that complies with corporate IT and cyber security policies
  • Taking responsibility for the definition, documentation, risk assessment and management and safe execution of small to mediumscale projects, actively participating in all phases of the project.
  • Effectively estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s).
  • Contributes to evaluating the factors which must be addressed in the change program.
  • Developing and managing defined communication channel(s) and/or stakeholder groups, proactively seeking to identify potential demand and assisting in the creation of the business case.
  • Providing advice and guidance to key interfaces on the capability needs for Rouen Mill and the technologies they specialize in.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consulting and sharing knowledge across organization, being fully aware of industry trends

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:


  • Degree in Information Technology or similar education
  • Previous relevant experience in Information Technology and digital skills in a Manufacturing or Industrial Environment.
  • Experience working with end user services technologies (PCs, operating systems, productivity software, mobile devices), managing ITS Projects and/or Programs deploying and driving execution via performance measurement, benchmarking and related visual management.
  • Familiar with Operations Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Preferred previous experience with Digital Transformation (Industry 4.0)
  • Ability to work in a virtual team on remote, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and with external suppliers, partners and customers.
  • Technical Acumen: Rapidly absorbs new technical information and applies it effectively to improve services or provide a better technical solution; understanding of technical change management and incident management process(es).
  • Fluent in English and in French
