    THE ROLE

    Within the CORE IT Finance department, the Maintenance and Evolutions Lead will work closely with the Application Manager on the functional and technical aspects linked to SAM (SAP Accruals Management), PE (Profitability Estimates) and BI Accounting Reports.

    The main role is to act as the gatekeeper of the SAM/PE/BI applications including design and build activities based on SAP BW, HANA, BO and Cognos technologies.

    He/she will be in charge of analyzing business requirements, produce design and implement solutions which are aligned with the target architecture.

    Part of the contribution to the broader team will be the ability to drive and challenge continuous improvements initiatives in line with the finance transformation agenda driven by FiPP team and business process owners.

    As Maintenance and Evolutions Lead for SAM/PE/BI, main activities will be
    Work with a team of external consultants remotely based in France and oversees, providing guidance and expertise when required
    Identify developing risks and issues on solutions and be force of proposition for mitigation plan
    Be the gate-keeper of the technical solution, ensuring the coherence and the non-regression of fixes and evolutions to the current solution
    Monitor and manage production incidents impacting SAM/PE/BI finance applications and provide the necessary guidance to the development / managed service team to priories defect resolution in a timely manner
    Contribute to the regular grooming of the backlog of work with the SAM/PE/BI application manager as per the product development cycle, and gather business requirements to feed it as expected
    Develop written procedures for routine maintenance and frequently asked questions
    Assist with recurring audit activities ensuring that a high level of documentation of change is maintained leading by example
    Partner with IT Operations to maintain and constantly improve the quality of service to support business growth and other finance transformation initiative including but not limited to Fast Close or reference data sourcing
    Ensure that daily IT operations are supervised appropriately to guarantee a constant and consistent level of service coordinating when required the relevant remediation action
    Identify, propose and priories process and tools improvements with the application manager and the rest of the team (ex: simplification and automation of data feeds and data preparation)

    PROFILE QUALIFICATIONS
    ~4-8 years experience in similar role as consultant or permanent of staff on Finance transformation project on SAP technology
    ~ Experience on team management
    ~ Functional knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing SAP BI and rep
