We are looking for a Claims Handler Property, Energy, Construction, Entertainment (M/F/d), based in Paris, France.

The Property, Energy & Construction &Entertainment Claims team in Paris counts approximately 10 experts who drive excellence in the claims handling service provided to Large Corporate clients.


As a leading company committed to employee's well-being, we enable a hybrid working model, with the expectations of our Claims teams to work 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.


The Impact You Will Have

  • Reporting to the Head of Property, Energy & Construction &Entertainment Claims, you will resolve high exposure complex claims, ensuring cost effective serviceoriented solutions and work supportively with your team members and manager to retain and win key clients.
  • Some of your specific responsibilities could include
  • Proactively manage, investigate, negotiate, and resolve high exposure claims, involving complex issues and/or litigation, service orientated, cost effectivity
  • Determine the amount of compensation due under the insurance contract and produce an appropriate settlement offer
  • Select and manage external service providers
  • Coach less experienced members of the team with their daily tasks and contribute to their upskilling
  • Work in conjunction with other teams to shape pragmatic solutions
  • Support the definition of claims management procedures jointly with clients, brokers, and loss adjusters
  • Enable the development of the claims strategy to ensure profitable growth and a strong market position

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Advanced knowledge of insurance claims and ideally a legal background, solid experience in handling Property & Construction insurance
  • Fluent in French (native speaker level) and a very good command of English
  • Strong sense of customer service and at ease negotiating with external partners
  • Sound analytical skills to interpret, synthesize complex information and to develop actionable solutions
  • Positive team spirit and an excitement to grow in a fastmoving environment
  • At ease in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
