expected to teach in French as well as in English. Teaching opportunities will be focused at the

undergraduate (BBA), "

Programme Grande Ecole (PGE)" and Master of Science (MSc in) levels. Responsibilities for this position include capabilities

to design and manage courses in Applied mathematics and data science approaches, tools and methods and potentially coordinate a network of professional lecturers. Conducting communications in professional and/or academic journals is another requirement of this position.

Teaching will be delivered principally in Lyon/Ecully campus but can also be delivered in other emlyon's campuses (St-Etienne
Paris).

JOB REQUIREMENTS- Phd / doctorate degree in a discipline linked to applied mathematics or data science
:_ statistics, machine learning, data visualization,_ or any related area,

Evidence of
excellent teaching achievements in French, (and English) at different levels (undergraduate, masters, executive)
demonstrated by proven teaching experience in applied mathematics for any management areas (e.g., operations, marketing, finance, economics), as well as data science methods and tools (data analysis, data management, etc),
Ability to merge theoretical knowledge with
practical relevance and to build and manage relationships with practitioners (e.g. companyoriented research projects),
Desire to collaborate in a collegial and dynamic pedagogical and research team,
Desire and ability to support junior level researchers and supervise doctoral students,
Even if this position is a teachingoriented position,
some research contributions are also a requirement, demonstrated by capacity to publish in the management journals in their respective research field (e.g., FT list),
as well as professional communications,
