The Data & Business Intelligence Manager plays an important role to ensure prompt and periodic analysis of the performance, consumer, and trends.

This analysis, performed based on internal and external datas, will support key business and marketing decisions.

Data management

  • Organize and structure and analyze existing data (internal and external such as ForwardKeys, Mindset, Industry studies, LVMH data, Inspire, IWSR, Generation, sell in, sell out, footfall,)
  • Key contributor to enhancements to existing reports in Power BI and other MH internal reports
  • Define solutions to align data collect across the regions and add essential missing information from regions, clients, and internal sources (travelers' nationality per airport, price corridor in Travel Retail and in Domestic, allowance policies)
  • Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives
  • Create and maintain comprehensive processes, models, diagrams, and documentation
  • Provide recommendations for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements
  • Ensure data quality and reliability
  • Ensure timely update of user access, including removal of access for users who have left TR

Research & Analysis

  • Conduct indepth research and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights in Travel Retail industry and in collaboration with Corporate Research team insights for W&S Industry
  • Conduct competitor research, and stay up to date with industry trends and Travel Retail trends to identify new business/activation opportunities
  • Capture and share the evolution of the traveller's profiles on key nationalities and support the creation of consumer personae for top nation/brand
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including sales, marketing, retail, and finance to develop customized analysis and report
  • Provide regular reports on business performances, sales progress, and market insights to management
  • Educate through inspiring sharing moments around data and learnings and conduct newcomers onboarding on data to encourage increased usage

Decision making support & Business Development

  • Perform costbenefit analysis and feasibility studies to support decisionmaking
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations
  • Prepare spot analysis and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to support strategic choices for the Travel Retail management
  • Support the marketing team in the creation of the annual Brand Plan (context, traffic, consumer insights)
  • Lead the Clients Joint Business Plan preparation and presentation

Profile:


Education

  • University degree

Language

  • Fluent in French and English

Key Competencies

  • Between 5 to 10 years' experience in data analytics, consumer insights, finance, business development or consultant roles will be preferred
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
  • Good business and commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and details
  • Result oriented and able to manage and keep to timelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI tools, SAP, Anaplan, Cognos will be preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proactive Mindset
  • Good interpersonal skills and adept at working with people from diverse cultures and nationalities
