Sr Application Specialist (M/F/d) FTIR / Raman Spectroscopy, EMEA
Home office-based role in the region of Paris/France.

30-50% travel time in the EMEA region.

Fluent in English and French


Division summary


The Materials & Structural Analysis Division (MSD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Pharma, Chemistry, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Life Sciences, and Recycling, to name a few.

Its instruments are deployed in R&D, Quality Inspection, and Process Monitoring, where customers put a premium on accuracy, adaptability, reliability and ease of use.

MSD is an exciting division with a global footprint, high tech product portfolio and diverse customer base.


How you will make an impact:

You will be part of a highly motivated team of EMEA Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, and Channel Managers embedded in a matrix organization with flat hierarchies, an open communication culture and outstanding team spirit.


You will be handling your work live balance from your home office with regular visits of customers in the EMEA region and primarily from the demo laboratory facilities of Les Ulis (Paris area).


What you will do:


  • Conduct installations, trainings, and after sales support to end customers in the region.
  • Participate on marketing events, workshops, trade fairs.
  • Team up with channel managers to support sustainable growth in the regions.
  • You will support EMEA with priority on Southern Europe (Fr, Sp, Pt, It), Middle East, North Africa.

How will you get here:


Education

  • University degree in physics and or optics or related field.

Experience

  • Working experience in semi conductors or electronics or chemical or pharmaceutical industry, or laboratory equipment / international distributor sales business...
  • Experiences in business development are an asset

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work optimally with customers and colleagues in the ambitious situations.
  • Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in French and English.
  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (app. 30 to 50 %).
  • Valid driver's license.
