Commercial-minded team player, with experience working with an international company, where working in sales role(s). Experience with STM publishers in the academic, and governmental market is a plus.


Responsibilities Strategic Focus

  • Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve targets and provide annual growth expected by the company.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Account Development team to plan actions to develop your accounts.
  • Monitor customers, market, and competitor's activities.
  • Relationship management: build a network within the market and customer (multiple stakeholders) and continuously keep strengthening your knowledge to define customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage to maximize sales and increase the market penetration in your territory, following the sales plan and strategy defined
  • Search for new opportunities and identifying leads for sales in your region.
  • Be proactive to periodically keep management up to date about all the sales opportunities and possible risks thru sales pipeline and reports.
  • Be able to develop and keep professional relationships with key accounts in any level (multiple stakeholders)
  • Be able to coordinate with other departments the entire sales cycle to provide solutions
  • Be able to organize sales action in advance, align to the sales plan and strategy defined, respecting all budgets.
  • Attend conferences, sales meetings and industry events as required.

Experience, skills and qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or the level of experience is required
  • Advanced English is required, French as mother tongue
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial role
  • Ability to forecast outcomes with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience negotiating sales process with consultative approach at different levels.
  • Willing and able to travel within the territory as well as international
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized and with a strong attention to detail.
  • A team player, able to work autonomously as and when required
  • Confident presenter to a vast audience
