The Breakfast Cereals category has been identified as a strategic core category for the Ecotone business and as such we have high ambitions to drive further value creation in this category.

The European Category Team is looking for his
Breakfast Cereals European Head of category (CDI/Permanent role) to drive growth of the BFC category across the Ecotone countries.

She/He is responsible to develop a European category strategy anchored in an ambitious innovation/renovation strategy, bringing competitive products to market & driving the expansion plan outside of France.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Innovation officer, your missions in the adventure

Develop the category strategy (OGSM) anchored in consumer insights with key growth drivers to deliver +€15M€ in the next three years & improve % Gross Margin
Build an ambitious innovation/renovation strategy to fuel MSO innovation pipeline
Foster a strong partnership mindset with local MSO's & operations team
Set the simplification agenda for the category
Be a key contributor of the F4G program supporting the operation team
Manage a Category manager

A master's degree with minimum 8 years' experience in various marketing roles.

With sharp marketing skills, you are able to identify powerful consumer insights, write concept, recognize opportunities and create a long term vision for the category, and manage portfolio strategy & execution.

You have strong management skills.

You are able to engage positively & convince various stakeholders across the organization (from local teams up to ELT members) and build win-win solutions thanks to your leadership and strong interpersonal skills.

Organized with strong analytical mind and capacity for synthesis, you analyze data coming from various sources & drive conclusions to turn into action in an international environment.

Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.

Frequent travelling possible.

Location of the position:

HQ in Saint-Genis-Laval is accessible by bus and metro (stop: Saint Genis Laval Hôpitaux Lyon Sud, 15 minutes walk).
