Context

:


Within BP Downstream we are managing the commodity supply and risk management for BU B2C France, for gas, power and certificates. We are working on a digital solution to improve our risk management and secure our operational processes.

:


Role:

  • You will study the portfolio and propose a representation of the risk in our risk management tools by risk family, client typology,...
  • You will develop tactical tools to improve our risk management and processes and work with our IS team for further integration
  • You will participate in supply and risk management operations: forecasting, hedging, costing, risk assessment (pricing model)
  • You will be in charge of the organization and implementation of all business activities, from design to implementation of all activities
  • You will take part in the organization and implementation of all the company's activities
  • You will organize the implementation of all the activities of the company

Hard skills:

  • You have knowledge of market risk and coding skills
  • You have the ability to manage complex crossfunctional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • You have a thorough understanding of trading and portfolio and risk management activities
  • You have a high level of numeracy and strong analytical skills, combined with a handson approach
  • You are proficient in Python 3.7 (Numpy, Pandas) and Excel VBA
  • You have outstanding experience using Jupyter Notebook
  • You are familiar with the use of APIs

Education and professional background

:


  • You are in a Master's degree, engineering school or business school
  • If you have previous experience in various aspects of sales portfolio management, trading, finance or similar fields, this is appreciated

  • Some travels to Bruxelles might occur occasionally
