Job requirement
We are looking for marine testers who will have to work at sea on the cabliers (ship)

Roles and duties:

Perform SLTE and PFE testing and validation after installation
Verification and testing of internal and external fibers up to 1st Repeater (OTDR) and beyond (COTDR)
Perform tests with the cable ship during the IR and Reflectometry landing test
Configuration and testing of equipment according to project (PC, switch, router, IP Phone, etc.)
Customer support and short training
Commissioning after full underwater fiber laying
Communication with all project stations to test and validate with the Customer
Test SDH and DWDM links up to 200 GIG (XWAVE Card)
To be readily available to travel and work worldwide
Areas of expertise (Networks: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, Telecom: SDH/PDH, WDM, DWDM, Equipment: Cisco Router and Switch)
Technical skills in telecoms (ideally engineer)
Diplomas: DUT Electrical Engineering & Industrial Computer Science/ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Professional Optronic License (fiber optics, electronics & optics)
English and French speaking and writing
Electrical clearance
Motivate to work in export and sea conditions (difficult, promiscuity, difficult external communications)
