Your role at Sephora Collection:


The Business Development Manager participates in the implementation of the operational marketing strategy and Sell Out activation plan for his or her area and applies it to all elements of the mix: assortment, visual merchandising, promotion, communication, and pricing.


Responsibilities

Scope:
North America (including Kohl's) & Latin America (Mexico and Brazil)


  • Subject of possible change / evolution of the scope/region in the future_
  • SELL-OUT PERFORMANCE_
  • Coconstruction of sellout objectives with the 2 regions, weekly and monthly performance monitoring with the Regional Leader.

The main KPIs monitored are:
sales, market share, basket penetration, brand and franchise rankings.

  • Coconstruction and monitoring of investments in the region, by country, lever and investment priorities. Analyze the ROI of actions taken and propose investment optimizations. Build a consolidated vision of the S+ and regional investments made on the brand.
  • ACTIVATION PLAN_
  • Contribute to the coconstruction of the activation plan for the 2 regions:
  • Presentation of the SEPHORA COLLECTION marketing plan and innovation strategy to the Category managers of each country
  • Adaptation of the WW product marketing plan to specific markets
  • Sell Out activation plan definition (360°).
  • Setting Sell Out objectives with local Catmans
  • Identify building blocks by franchise to achieve the annual target (US as a priority)
  • Ensure the deployment and management of the brand activation plan:
  • Ensure the proper implementation of in-store and e-commerce activation plan in line with the strategy
  • Provide operational support to the markets
  • Analyze and challenge market forecasts
  • BUDGET_
  • Build the annual average investment budget for the zone according to the defined business priorities
  • Ensure the monthly budget followup and invoicing process
  • Draw up a report on the actions taken and propose corrective actions if necessary
  • Prepare and follow the sampling and gratis plan with the countries (annual allocation)
  • Identify and follow up on the "comps" that are part of the forecast process
  • MARKET EXPERTISE_
  • Regular market visits: preparation before the market visits: presentation of WW performance / main KPIs
; then feedback afterwards:

visit report + action plan identified during the visit

  • Establish an internal reference for the market.
  • Identify local best practices to share them within the team to create added value.
  • IN TRANSVERSAL_
  • Forecasts: with the Supply Chain Department, analysis of Sell out forecasts of the respectice countries (recommendations / corrective actions if necessary)
  • Ecommerce + Digital: In collaboration with the S+ ecommerce teams, ensure the brand's exposure on ecommerce and social networks
  • Visual Merchandising:
  • Follow markets visual merchandising plans by seasons
  • Manage the implementation of new furniture
  • Interface with various internal S+ departments:
  • Operational Marketing and Training for the activation plan
  • Product Marketing for the marketing plan and specific developments if necessary
  • Supply Chain: sales forecast and followup of POS/product shipment
  • Regulatory for product registration and quality monitoring
  • Management control for the MM budget and pricing elements
  • MANAGEMENT_
  • Management of people
  • Manage, evaluate, and develop direct report(s) to ensure that the Business development strategy is implemented effectively

We are excited about you if you have:

  • Master's degree level: business school or equivalent
  • At least 7 years of experience as key account, business manager, operational marketing or catman
  • Strong customer orientation, resultsoriented, rigorous, organized, autonomous, able to summarize, so
  • Proficient in Excel (reporting) and PPT.
  • Ability to work in a crossfunctional manner and strong work capacity.
  • Bilingual English with excellent expression and writing skills.
  • Ability to travel abroad including other continents
